Weidian Store Link vs Product Link: How to Check the Right Item Before Using PikoBuy

Learn what Weidian userid and itemID identify, compare two real PikoBuyCN listings, and verify the exact item, variant and live price before using PikoBuy.

Checked on October 11, 2026. A Weidian store page and a Weidian product page can belong to the same seller, yet they answer different questions. A store link tells you where to browse that seller. A product link tells you which listing you are about to inspect. If you paste the storefront when you meant to buy one item, you still have to find and confirm the exact product. This guide focuses on that distinction; our original-link guide explains how to trace a catalog card to its source, and the marketplace buying guide covers the broader ordering sequence.

First identify the number in the link

Weidian's official help page explains that userid in a store URL identifies the store, while itemId in a product URL identifies the item. A browser product URL may spell the parameter itemID, as the live examples below do. Check the actual destination and the number after its parameter; do not treat the two numbers as interchangeable.

Link you haveWhat it identifiesWhat to do next

https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7822941796One product listingCheck its current images, options and price before submitting the link.

These are not invented example IDs. When checked, both product pages in the next section linked back to the same Weidian storefront. The shared userid did not make their separate itemID values equivalent.

Two real items from this catalog

Open each PikoBuyCN detail page and compare it with the linked Weidian page. The catalog title is a finding aid; the seller's wording can differ. The prices below were visible at the October 11 check, not promised checkout prices.

PikoBuyCN recordExact Weidian product linkWhat was visible at the check
New Balance 9060 Sneakers; item ID 7822941796itemID=7822941796Weidian displayed the title “new nb Retro Casual Running Breathable -2925” and ¥402. Its selector showed color choices and shoe sizes including 36 and 42. The catalog also displayed ¥402 at this check.
Stussy 8-Ball Hoodie Zip-Up Hoodie; item ID 7822250066itemID=7822250066Weidian displayed the title “New versatile hooded sweatshirt-2218” and ¥226. Its selector showed numbered Style choices and sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. The catalog also displayed ¥226 at this check.

The two seller titles are not exact copies of the catalog titles. That is a reason to inspect the current main image and the particular option you intend to buy, not a reason to assume that matching prices alone prove the listing is correct. A style number is not a color name unless the seller page establishes that mapping. Neither example establishes current stock, seller reliability or the condition of an item that might arrive later.

Check the item, SKU and price before using PikoBuy

  1. Start with a specific item. Open the PikoBuyCN directory or a category and record the product-page URL and the numeric item ID shown there. A store URL by itself is insufficient.
  2. Open the Weidian product link. Confirm that the address contains the intended itemID. Compare the live product photo and seller title with the catalog record. If the wording differs, use the images and option descriptions to investigate rather than silently substituting a different item.
  3. Choose the exact variant. Read the seller's current style, color and size labels. For the shoe example, note the particular color and shoe size; for the sweatshirt example, note the numbered Style and the chosen letter size. Check a size chart when available. Do not assume a thumbnail or a generic catalog title specifies your SKU.
  4. Recheck the price where you act. Compare the visible Weidian price for that option with the catalog's reference price. Then check the item and variant shown by PIKOBUY before payment. Its official shopping guide says to confirm specifications, color and size, paste a product link or keywords into its search, and review the selected specifications before submitting an order. A saved catalog price is not a final charge.
  5. Keep a short record. Save the full source URL, item ID, chosen option, displayed price and date. This lets you spot a redirect or a changed listing if you revisit it later.

If the link lands somewhere unexpected

It opens a login screen

Keep the full original product URL. If you choose to sign in, return to that URL afterward and confirm that the final page still shows the intended itemID, image and option. A login redirect does not validate the item or its price. If you cannot view the listing, leave it unverified and ask the seller or purchasing service for help.

It opens the store homepage

Look for userid and the absence of the expected product itemID. Go back to the PikoBuyCN item page or the seller's exact product card and copy its product URL. Do not select a similar-looking item from the store just because the seller is the same; the two real examples above share one userid but have different item IDs and options.

It opens a different product or the options do not match

Stop before submitting the link. Compare the number in the final URL with the catalog ID, then check the title, photos and selectable variants. The listing may have changed, redirected or been copied incorrectly. If the exact item cannot be confirmed, mark the link unresolved rather than replacing it with another seller's item or another product ID. If a price changes after a variant is selected, use the live selected-variant price and review it again on PIKOBUY's order screen.

Once the exact listing is confirmed, continue with the PikoBuy marketplace workflow. For comparing other products before choosing one, return to the recent finds or all guides. This article does not assert stock, discounts, QC photos, shipping charges or a successful purchase for either example.
